Lake Bluff Library Winter Reading Club 2021: LibGuides: #OwnVoices Book Lists

There are as many perspectives in this world as there are people. Take the time to walk a mile in someone else's shoes. The key to selecting an #OwnVoices book is that it's written by an author from a marginalized or underrepresented group writing about their own experiences/from their own perspective, rather than someone from an outside perspective writing as a character from an underrepresented group. There are many, many more options, but you can start here.
