Vote by Mail

  • In order to vote by mail, you will need to fill out an official ballot request application.
  • All ballot requests must be received in the Lake County Clerk's Office by Thursday, October 29th, at 5 PM. 
  • Once you receive your ballot, make sure to read the instructions carefully to make sure you complete your ballot and the return envelope correctly.
  • Voted ballots must be returned in one of the following ways:
    • Hand delivered to the Lake County Clerk's office by 7 PM on Election Day,
    • Mailed to the Lake County Clerk's Office with a postmark no later than November 3, 2020,
    • Brought to the voting site and surrendered to the election judges,
    • Placed in an official postage-free drop box.
